Heather created the Cultivating Calm app because she understands the importance of finding balance in a busy, often overwhelming world. After experiencing anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, and people-pleasing tendencies for years, she reached a turning point. She knew something needed to shift.
During her journey, Heather felt uncertain about where to turn. Therapy provided some support, but it wasn’t enough. Medication wasn’t the right choice for her, so she decided to explore natural methods for managing anxiety and taking control of her life.
Through trial and error, Heather discovered a combination of practices that helped her break free from overthinking and procrastination. She developed daily habits that brought her greater calm, confidence, and happiness—and found that just 30 minutes a day could create lasting change.
The tools Heather shares are designed to clear mental clutter, shift mindsets, and make room for what truly matters. For those feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety or self-doubt, Heather offers a path to peace and possibility. She’s here to guide others toward a life of balance, growth, and lasting transformation.

We are Getting RAAAVE Reviews!

"I had the benefit of being able to talk with Janine, learn more about the Canadian Therapist Network and to now have access to this amazing platform. The network is filled with amazing resources! The network has so many opportunities such as being able to chat with people in a similar field to you, ask questions and so many resources to learn about different types of opportunities in the counseling space.

Janine is always posting or sending information on podcasts, interesting journal articles, workshops or fun opportunities to expand your knowledge as a counsellor! I recently signed up for the two day trauma conference!

As a student at Yorkville University about to start my practicum this network has helped me learn a lot more about the different techniques to use in counselling and also has helped me learn how to better help my client through all the resources and workshops on here! I am very grateful I have access to such an awesome platform and being able to work with an amazing person like Janine! "

Maggie M - Yorkville University Student

"I came across the Canadian Therapist Network on Instagram, and as a new business owner, I am so grateful to have gotten to know the owner, Dr Orlando! She facilitated a workshop where I got to present to her subscribers about my digital archiving services for FREE! She provides services to assist the mental health therapists in her network and the larger community, AND provides a space for new business owners to shine! I would recommend the Canadian Therapist Network to any mental health therapist and other business owners looking to branch out."

"As a business owner specializing in branding and design services for therapists and clinicians, I can confidently say that The Canadian Therapist Network is an invaluable resource for mental health professionals across the country. This platform goes beyond just connecting clinicians—it fosters a thriving community of support, education, and growth. With an abundance of resources, including live consultations, training sessions, and easy access to ongoing learning opportunities, it’s a one-stop platform for therapists looking to enhance their practice. What truly stands out to me is how CTN empowers clinicians with the tools and knowledge they need to grow both personally and professionally. The ability to tap into peer support, gain insights from experts, and access practical resources for practice augmentation makes this platform a game-changer. As someone who works closely with therapists to elevate their brands, I can see firsthand the immense value this network offers in supporting their continued success and development.
